Gerad Argeros was an altar boy at St. Cecilia Church in Northeast Philadelphia when, at age 11, he became one of an untold number of child victims of prolific pedophile priest James Brzyski. Decades later, Argeros developed and performed the stage monologue “Fox Chase Boy” to confront deep personal and communal traumas of his close knit parish, employing comedy and nostalgia to speak directly to a crime cloaked in silence.
